Flowserve School Battle

Which school has the fastest students in Breda and the surrounding area?

With this competition, you as a school contribute to the Amgen Singelloop Breda and bring students from the region together in motion. During the Flowserve School Battle, secondary school students compete against each other during the Cosun 5 km.

They are not only competing for honor on behalf of their school. There are cool prizes to be won for the fastest boys and girls, both individually and per school! With their own reception before the start and a festive award ceremony afterwards, together with Flowserve we will make it a sporty day that the students will not soon forget.

The rules of the game

To participate in the Flowserve School Battle as a school, the following rules apply:

  • Participation takes place exclusively through the school; make a teacher responsible for this.

  • Secondary schools from Breda, Etten-Leur and surrounding villages can participate.

  • A school purchases a minimum of 10 tickets, and a minimum of 5 boys and 5 girls participate per school.

  • Participating students are 13 to 16 years old on the day of the race.

Want your school to participate?

Register the school below to receive a unique ticket link. The price per ticket is the same as that of the regular 5 km. As a school, you decide for yourself whether and how you pass on the participation costs to the participating students. There is a limited number of tickets available for the Flowserve School Battle.

What can you win?

Individual prizes
Within each age category (13 to 16 years old), the fastest boy and the fastest girl will receive a cool prize. In total, there are 8 individual prizes to be won, sponsored by Flowserve.

The Battle Prize
Which school performs the best during the 5 km? The Battle Prize is awarded twice: to the school with the fastest girls and the school with the fastest boys! This is determined by the average of all girls and all boys of the school, so it doesn't matter if you register with a large or small number.
