Amgen will remain associated with the Amgen Singelloop Breda as title sponsor for the next five years. After years of involvement in the Breda running event, Amgen has chosen to continue with Le Champion as the new organizer. Together they will build on the further development of this sporting event, while maintaining its character and strong connection to the city.
The 39th edition of the Amgen Singelloop Breda will take place on Sunday, April 4, 2027. From this edition onwards, the organization is in the hands of Stichting Sportevenementen Le Champion. The familiar character remains central, with the course along the canals and through the historic city center, and the great involvement of participants, volunteers, supporters, and residents.

Registration opens late August
For the 39th edition of the Amgen Singelloop Breda, there is room for a maximum of 24,000 runners. Participants can choose from the Kids Run, Family Run, 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km. Registration for these distances opens on August 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM. New in 2027 is the Singel Wandeltocht Breda on Saturday, April 3, 2027, with room for a maximum of 5,000 walkers.

The Amgen Singelloop Breda has been bringing runners, supporters, residents, volunteers, businesses, and partners together in Breda since 1986. The route leads along the canals and through the historic city center, finishing on the Grote Markt next to the Grote Kerk. From 2027, Stichting Sportevenementen Le Champion organizes the Amgen Singelloop Breda.
